Registration gives you access to:

  • the book voucher
  • Rewards section

If you register to play The Legula Adventure on the website, you will be asked to provide the following information:

Everytime you play The Legula Adventure, learndirect would like to contact you with details of how you have performed and relevant course information. If you do not wish to receive these emails you can indicate this when you register.

If you enter the competition to create your own version of 'The Journey to Darkest Somewhere' and 'The House of Scary Words' online storybooks, you will be asked to provide the following information:

Giving information about other people

When you give us information about another person, for example when you "Recommend a Friend", the other person must have agreed to let:

We intend to continue improving the content and function of our website. For this reason we may monitor traffic patterns and site usage.

Ufi Limited (learndirect) and its contractors will use your personal information and information obtained from other sources to provide you with information about learndirect and the Read together campaign and to contact you about participating in research about the Read together campaign and your experiences of learndirect. We may also store information about you using cookies (files which are sent by us to your computer or other access device) to analyse your preferences and to ensure that the content, services and advertising we offer are tailored to your needs and interests.

You will be asked when registering for a free copy of "Where did the river go?" or playing The Legula Adventure, if you give permission for learndirect to keep you informed about this campaign and learndirect courses.

You will be asked to indicate how you wish to be contacted - by post, by telephone, by SMS and by email and if you would be happy to participate in research about the campaign and my experiences of learndirect.

Please note that if you register for any of the above books/games where they are hosted on a third party website, these sites will not have access to your data. Your information will only be available to learndirect and it's service providers.
